Took a yoga class here for the first time. I can't believe I've just found a hidden gem on the East side. The class was awesome. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The instructor told me about becoming a member so you don't have to pay for individual classes. My husband and I just joined, so now we have a cool place to work out together. There are so many activities and classes to choose from, and we will never get bored. There are outside things to do as well, like a walking trail and disc golf course. We are looking forward to taking more classes and fitness training.

If you’re looking for a family oriented, welcoming community, we’ve found it at Eastway. Deborah and Stacy at the children’s center were welcoming, personable, and very polite. Such an amazing experience. It seems too good to be true. Why join a gym when this has miles of walking trails, disc golf, pools, fitness center, classes for the kiddos, child care, and so much more we haven’t yet tried. Not to mention you get access to the other Mecklenburg County Recreational centers and parks. Unbelievable. Thank you!

Beautiful facility. I went to attend a free jewelry making class. It was so much fun and loved making a one of a kind peace. I didn’t walk around but what I did see they have a pool, gym and appeared to be an indoor track. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

My girlfriend and I moved from south Florida to Charlotte at the beginning of the year and were looking for a clean and organized gym. We visited a few other gyms but after being personally recommended Eastway and the MeckPass system, we decided to enroll and get a membership. Not only did we find what we were looking for in a gym, we’ve also been able to make many friends through indoor pickleball. The staff is great, especially Marcus, Devin, Jordan, Daniel, and Jonathan! They really care about the community and about upkeeping the gym. We enjoy Eastway so much, we’ve gone on to recommend it to others and have even taken my parents to come check out the space. Eastway cares about cleanliness and offers great classes and activities!

Beautiful. Clean and well maintained. Ample parking. Entry and exit can be an issue some time and it's on a busy street. They have a soccer field.

This place it’s perfect for a day in family or a work out day. You can also rent rooms for parties, and any other celebrations. They have day care for kids. A very wide parking lot. They have family pools and pools for training. They even have police guards so i know if there’s any incidents in the local, things will get put under control quickly. The staff is very friendly and they can give you tours in your first day there.

I give this rec center 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️because there is no sauna or steam room. I don’t understand who would build a gym without those amenities. However, everything else is perfect! I love how I feel when I come in the center, the staff are all professional but with a familiar vibe. I love my pickleball family, my yoga family and all of the activities that go on here. My yoga teacher is simply the master at her craft!!

This is a premier, Mecklenburg county, Parks, and creation facility it is beautiful with an amazing indoor pool, a phenomenal exercise and weight room to well-maintained basketball courts, as well as ample meeting space. The staff were very enthusiastic and professional. There was loads of parking and a lot of outdoor space walking areas as well.
